"This is my mother's coleslaw dressing. She also used it on a salad she made with nothing but lettuce and sliced eggs. Either way, it's great."

- 1⁄2 cup low-fat mayonnaise or 1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup low-fat sour cream or 1/2 cup nonfat sour cream
- 1⁄3 cup evaporated milk
- 1⁄2 tablespoon sugar
- 1⁄2 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 dash salt & pepper
directions
- Mix well.
- Add a little more sugar or vinegar, tasting till it's how you like it.

Still in West Virginia but we've moved a few miles away, down to the county capitol. It's a compromise: bigger than our last town but smalelr than the "big city" of Cumberland MD, right up the road. Jobs are not that plentiful here so I am fortunate to be able to work at home (I'm a writer).
