  1. TOO much black pepper...ick...also, I am thinking I have read somewhere to take a small spoonful of meatloaf, pre-cooked, and pan fry or microwave it for a taste-test.

  2. I just went to Cracker Barrel for Meatloaf 2 days ago, and made this recipe today. Wow! I have to say I thought it was delicious and tasted authentic! I did use some biscuits I brought home from Cracker Barrel, but I made 2 loaves and did grate some white bread into crumbs also. I'll be using this as my go-to Meatloaf recipe from now on. Thanks so much! :)

  3. My daughter and I go to cracker barrel all the time for the meatloaf so I was eager to try this recipe. We were both disappointed with it. Cracker barrel's meatloaf is firm while this is loose and soggy. The flavor was mediocre and only slightly resembled cracker barrel's meatloaf. It was edible but if I knew it would turn out like this I would have stuck to my own meatloaf recipe and not wasted my time...on the plus side there is plenty of leftovers. ..because neither one of us wanted seconds.

  4. so you know cracker barrel dont have a recipe cause thier meatloaf is shipped already made in a roll all the do is make the loaf and add ketsup on it

  5. This recipe was very good. I omitted the tomatoes, however and doubled the recipe for a larger loaf. I also used a half cup of bread crumbs instead of biscuits. It turned out really great!
