directions

  • Add the peanut butter and package of butterscotch morsels to large pan over a low/med heat.
  • Melt, stirring often.
  • Once your mixture is smooth and creamy, turn off heat and add cornflakes. Mix well until all flakes are coated. (you can add additional flakes per your texture preference but I have found this amount works well).
  • Place your cookies (I use a pampered chef medium scoop) on wax paper, and let cool.

  1. Just like mom used to make. Perfect summertime treat, like rice crispies where you don’t have to heat up the oven for sweets.

  2. Great recipe! My great grandmother used to make these and I made these for the first time, as one of my Xmas cookies this year. No-bake, crunchy and sweet (very, very sweet), almost like a candy/cookie. I used store brand corn flakes, Peter Pan regular PB and Nestle butterscotch chips. These would work out great for a bake sale. After they were dropped onto the wax lined sheet, I popped them into the fridge to chill for 30 minutes and they were perfect. I doubled the recipe and used a Pampered Chef Tablespoon scooper and this made EXACTLY 60 cookies. A nice addition to any Xmas cookie platter, not really a cookie but a sweet. Thank you so much for posting!

I am a part-time realtor and full time stay at home mom. I have lived in different parts of the South and love Nashville!! I really enjoy cooking but am a novice so a recipe is a must for me, no creative flair here. I love this website, I use it all the time to come up with dinner ideas when I am in a rut.
