DIRECTIONS

  • Heat oven to 350.
  • Combine flour, salt and sugar, mix well.
  • Add in the coffee and milk.
  • Cook until thick, and stir constantly.
  • Slowly stir in beaten yolks, cook 1 minute.
  • Add butter, combine.
  • Let cool well.
  • When cooled, pour into shell.
  • MERINGUE:
  • Beat whites until frothy. Gradually add in the sugar and vanilla extract, & continue to beat until stiff.
  • Top pie with meringue.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes.
