This is an excellent Chai Tea recipe! I did not use cardamon pods as I didn't have any on hand. I put all the spices except the cinnamon stick and ginger in a stainless steel steeper for ease. I also used brown sugar instead of honey and found it to be plenty sweet for my taste. The tea is wonderfully spicy and strong so I enjoyed the half tea/half milk ratio. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, a lovely robust spicy tea!!! I made this using rooibos tea bags, exactly as recipe, it is now steeping in the fridge for me to enjoy in the next day or two! I very much enjoyed the cup I tried, though, but I must confess to not adding milk to make it a chai mix, I don't enjoy milk in my tea, but I could see that the tea part of this recipe was too good to miss! Others might prefer to add some sugar or honey, but I dont have a sweet tooth, for me this was just marvellous! Thank you, Jan, made for My 3 Chefs, November 2009
