ingredients
- 14 egg yolks
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups milk, scalded
- 1 cup heavy cream, cold
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
directions
- Beat egg yolks and sugar with some salt until pale and thick.
- Pour over milk, a little at the time.
- Cook the mixture, until it coats the back of a spoon, remove from heat.
- Pour in cream and cinnamon, whip until smooth.
- Chill, and freeze according to manufactures instructions.
