  1. This is sooooo good! I teach school and have a classroom of wonderful students with cognitive impairments. We vote on which recipe we want to use for our once a month cooking. This was the November recipe, though we substituted raisins for the cashews (since we can't use nuts). We doubled this and made 3 large pans. We all loved it and it was super easy. Thanks!

  2. Made this up for my other half to take (most of it, anyway) as a treat at work, & co-workers were asking for the recipe, so that goes to the rating! I think IT'S GREAT & will be making it again for one of thje monthly meetings I host! Thanks for sharing it! [Tagged, made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in this Spring's Pick A Chef]

I am a 19 year old [female] University student who loves to cook and bake with any spare time I have...!! I find it so relaxing and enjoyable to be in the kitchen, discover and try new recipes, and hopefully find some excellent keepers. Cooking, Baking, and long-distance running are the ways I de-stress and relax. I find that Recipezaar is also great for my mom who, after cooking for a large family for over 20 years, finds it hard to motivate herself to cook; with Recipezaar, there is always a new recipe to try, and it is so rewarding to find a dish that everyone enjoys. My absolute favourite thing to do in the kitchen is bake. I find it very methodical, relaxing, and fun. I worked for a restaurant in the past as the assistant pastry chef, and learned a lot from the head pastry chef. Thus, I have quite some experience baking, and have done a variety of challenging desserts because of my experience there. <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Iwasadopted.jpg">
