Chocolate Marsala Cake

ingredients
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1⁄4 cup marsala
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 125 g butter, melted
directions
- Spray a 20cm round cake tin with cooking spray and line with non-stick baking paper.
- Preheat oven to 180 C / 350°F.
- Place all ingredients into bowl of electric mixer.
- Beat on slow until everything is combined, then increase speed to medium and beat for 3 minutes.
- Pour into tin.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.

I didn't have marsala when I went to make this cake, so used 1/4 cup of white grape juice & a teaspoon of apricot brandy instead ~ Other than that I followed the recipe right on down & baked it in an 8" cake pan! And, since I'd already made your recipe #357941 #357941, I used a small drizzle of that to top of the slices of cake! ABSOLUTELY GREAT, especially for a chocoholic like myself!
