Chocolate Chip Orange Oatmeal Cookies

"You might call these Slightly Adult cookies as they have a taste that is a bit more sophisticated. I made 3 batches for neighbors Welcome Home Tea (She has been in the hospital). The 4 kids seemed to think they were ok and preferred other items while the adults cleaned up the tray. I used Bittersweet chocolate."

  1. Fabulous cookie - i just love oats - I had to use lemon zest as someone ate the orange I had put aside to zest - it was specially chosen for its lovely blemish free skin too - but the lemon worked so well and they are pretty addictive - so I will do them again and this time I'll hide the orange !!!! Thanks to Annacia.

  4. The whole family really loved these biscuits. There were easy to make too. Mine did spread quite a bit so next time I will place them further apart before cooking. Will be excellent with my mid morning coffee tomorrow.
