  1. This was very easy and quite good! I did think the batter was a bit bland -- perhaps it is because I enjoy a more buttery cookie. Next time I'll do 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening. Also - I wasn't sure what size bag of chocolate chips to use. I ended up using about 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips and it was perfect. Thanks for this recipie!

  2. These cookies turned out very good. Poorly constructed DIRECTIONS; Be careful in the future to listing out each step, ingredient, and amount in the direction process. Not everyone who reads these recipes will realize that you missed a few ingredients and steps. Note we used an 11oz. bag of chocolate chips. We believe you can never have enough chocolate.

  5. Personally these cookies just turned out like all the rest. Taste good and all but appearance was not like the picture. I did 1/4 C shortening and 1/4 C butter.. maybe that was where I went wrong but probably not as someone suggested it before. how do I make them look just like the picture??! is there any high altitude changes?

We now have added a third addition to our family making it complete with two boys and a girl. I now have a 3 year old, 1 year old and 2 month old! It gets a little crazy between having such small children so it's nice to have a place I can come get a quick dinner recipe from! I can always find something on here to try!
