  1. yummy cookies - they are not moist, though, except when they first come out of the oven, but with dh and four littles grabbing them as soon as they're off the pan, that doesn't seem to matter

  2. Low fat? No way! These were delicious. I used all whole wheat flour which gave them a nice nutty flavor. I also found that it helped to slightly flatten the dough on the cookie sheet before baking. Great recipe!

  3. All I can say is these cookies are FANTASTIC! And they're so easy to make. I really am impressed, because who would have thought a low fat cookie would taste so delicious. I love the depth that the oats and whole wheat give this cookie...it really is quite good. I also wanted to note I guess I made my cookies larger than the poster, because I only got 34 out of this batch.

  4. I made this recipe and you can not even tell they are low fat. My children even commented on how delecious they taste. It was QUICK & EASY to make. A great snack anytime when you are looking for something sweet but, low fat and low calories. Thanks!!!

  5. These cookies are SOOOOOOOO good! Even people who don't like low-fat anything LOVED them! It's really hard to believe that they are low-fat. Thank you for the great recipe!

Tweaks

  1. Fabulous! I wasn't really looking for lo-fat, but the ratings on these led me to make them. I probably added a little extra butter (did not measure), and threw in some walnuts, and I made them with Spelt flour instead of wheat. SO SO good! A keeper! The consistency was chewy and just right.

  2. Ultimate Healthy Gourmet Cookie That is what I would name these delicious cookies. They got WOW's from everyone. I did make some adjustments ...I used all whole-wheat flour, old fashioned oats, 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup splenda and 1/2 cup brown sugar, walnut oil in place of butter and I added 1 tablespoon of Molly Butter (since I didn't use butter). I did have to add extra milk to moisten...probably because I used all whole-wheat flour. GREAT! Soft coming out of the oven but they get crunchy! PERFECT!
