Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip

"Wonderful dip for graham crackers, cookies, and anything that goes good with chocolate chip cookie dough! My mom got this recipe from a friend of hers and made it when I was little. I loved it, and I hope you'll love it too! Definitely a kid pleaser."

• Serves: 30

ingredients

• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
• 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
• 1 (12 ounce) bag mini chocolate chips

directions

1. Melt the butter; add to softened cream cheese, add sugar.
2. Mix well and add the mini chocolate chips.
3. Serve with graham crackers or wafers of your choice.

This sounded great but I have to agree with Juenessa, it was just a little too sweet for me. I made it for a party. The kids couldn't get enough and most adults agreed with the sweet factor. Not bad but just a little too sweet.

I got this recipe from soemone on another website. I decided to make it for a party my sister was hosting for some family and friends because I had all the ingredients at home (including regular-sized chocolate chips instead of the minis. I made one alteration by adding some vanilla (2tsps). It was a hit!! My sorority sisters ask me to make for every event now!

I love sweets and I love rich food, but this was over the top too sweet. My husband and children did not like this dip either. I'm sorry for the bad review. The ingredients sounded good, but were just way too sweet.
