'Chinese Buffet' Green Beans

'Chinese Buffet' Green Beans created by Lavender Lynn

From allrecipes.com, but I need to post it here for safekeeping, because this recipe is amazing! I had to cook my beans longer than I thought to get them soft enough for my taste. So you might give yourself a little more time, depending on how you prefer your beans!

This is almost perfect. Every buffet I've ever been too has something cut into it. A pale piece usually an inch or two long with a salty taste. They're just not the same without it but I don't know what it is. Any ideas?

I had been craving, these green beans, and had no idea, how they made that sauce. I am so glad I found this recipe. So simple, and It was right on point. I did cook my green beans a little before adding them to the pan with the garlic. All in all excellent.

Absolutely fabulous! Better than any restaurant version I've ever had.
