- 2 tablespoons butter (1/4 stick)
- 4 -8 ounces mushrooms, sliced (if canned, drain)
- 1⁄4 cup dry white wine
- 1⁄4 - 1⁄2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 2 cups cubed cooked chicken (approx 1/2 lb)
- 1 cup light sour cream (can use fat-free or full-fat if prefer)
- 1 lb cooked pasta noodles
directions
- Melt butter in medium skillet over medium heat.
- Add mushrooms, wine, thyme and salt and cook 2-3 minutes.
- Add chicken and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Serve immediately with cooked pasta.
