directions

  • Simmer all ingredients except noodles until chicken is done, about 45 minutes.
  • If chicken is bone-in, remove, cut into pieces and return to broth.
  • Either cook noodles separately and then add or stir them directly into soup along with additional water (1 - 2 cups) and simmer until noodles are done.

  1. Made half the recipe and cooked an extra chichen breast for chicken salad. So easy and will be a great leftover reheated this weekend. Love Betty Crocker recipes, what I grew up on. Thanks for sharing Mom10. Made for Pick A Chef Spring 2011

  2. I fixed this for lunch long with Baked Potatoes with Toppers #326000. Two of us (me) wanted soup and the grandkids wanted potatoes. I fixed only half the recipe of the soup and added some onions and garlic (I love them)... followed the recipe the rest of the way. Delicious especially on a rainy day! I cooked the noodles separately and added them at the end. Thank you. Made for Spring PAC 09.
