Chicken Florentine Soup

ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup short macaroni noodles, uncooked
- 1 1⁄4 lbs slkinless boneless chicken breasts
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced seasoned tomatoes
- 6 ounces fresh Baby Spinach
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground pepper
- fresh grated asiago cheese
directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Set aside.
- Chop chicken and cook in the bottom of a medium saucepan.
- Combine broth, chicken and water and bring to a boil.
- Stir in tomatoes and cook to heated through.
- Stir in spinach and cook until spinach is wilted.
- Stir in seasoning and pepper.
- Serve into bowls and sprinkle with asiago cheese.

My pet peeves are recipes that claim to be low fat or low calorie, but really aren't. Low fat is under 5 grams and Low calorie for a main dish is under 250 calories.
