  • 1 12 lbs chicken
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (6 ounce) package seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 (8 3/4 ounce) can corn, whole kernel (strained)
  • 1 (8 3/4 ounce) can peas (strained)

directions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Spray 9x12 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Prepare stuffing as directed. Let sit.
  • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  • Combine soup, veggies and chicken into 9x13 casserole dish.
  • Stir until everything is mixed thoroughly.
  • Add stuffing on top of casserole.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

  1. This is perfect for when "Dad's cooking" to give mom a break. Very easy to make. I baked about 40 minutes to make sure the chicken was cooked through. I cooked covered for the first 30. Then 10 uncovered to get the stuffing a little crisp. The kids and my better half all approved. Nice web site!
     
  2. This was definitely an easy recipe, especially since we used a fully cooked and shredded rotisserie chicken to speed it up even more! We also used the canned peas & carrots rather than just peas. It was tasty and simple!!! It was great as leftovers, too!!! I think next time I'd add a little milk to the soup mixture and maybe use more stuffing on top!
