This is a fabulous cake! I used a yellow cake mix and it turned out fantastic. It made the whole house smell like cherries. The marshmallows made a sticky crunchy topping. My DH ate two huge pieces before it was even cool! Thanks for this great keeper!!

loved the taste of this moist delicious cake but I made exactly as directed but when the cake was done I wasn't able to see any marshmallow on top. It was just sortof a melted little bit sticky surface. Did I do something wrong or was that how it should be? I took it to work and we all loved it so either way it was great. But I think I would just leave out the marshmallow out as I don't really see what it adds to the recipe.

This recipe was so fun! My 6 and 9 year old daughters helped to make it and they couldn't wait until it was done to see how the cherries and marshmallows switched places. It was delicious, too. We ate it still warm...mmmmm! We'll make this often.
