  1. This Chery Salsa is so good. We used it to give a boost of flavor to plain roasted pork tenderloin, and it was delicious. The salsa has a slight kick of "heat" from the jalapeno pepper (but not on an overwhelming way), and the natural sweetness of the cherries offers a nice contrast to the zesty base, and all of it culminates in quite a flavorful salsa. I followed the recipe as written without any ingredient adjustments (though I quartered the cherries instead of halving them, since the cherries were rather large). I know I'll make this again. Thank you for sharing your recipe, duonyte.

  2. Absolutely great tasting salsa, even if I did change a couple of things! I used only half a jalapeno & left the mint out altogether, but otherwise followed the recipe & we really did enjoy this wonderful salsa! Had it initially with some left over pork roast, but I'll be making it again, I know! Definitely a keeper of a recipe! [Made & reviewed in Newest Zaar recipe tag]

In recent years I have been baking a lot of sourdough breads and have several starters sitting in my refrigerator. But I like to cook a lot of other things, as well, especially from various cultures.
