Cherry Sake Cocktails

ingredients
- 2⁄3 cup frozen dark sweet cherries, thawed
- ice
- 3⁄4 cup sake (4 shots )
- ginger ale
directions
- Divide cherries among two tall glasses. Gently muddle cherries with the back of a wooden spoon in the bottom of each glass. Top with plenty of ice.
- Add 2 shots of sake to each glass. Fill to the top with ginger ale.
- Sip and enjoy.

(Stacy G posting for CQ 2016 Japan!) This was the first recipe I made for our Culinary Quest 2016! It was fabulous! I buy sake for cooking and always seem to throw most of the bottle away. NO MORE!! I'll just drink it up using this recipe! I used ginger beer soda and some amazing cocktail Bing cherries (with the cherry juice). Loved this. Refreshing with just a little kick. I've had one of these every night for the last week. Thanks for posting and starting off my tour the right way!
