  • Soak bread crumbs in cold water and set aside. Saute diced onion until tender. Set aside and allow to cool.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, onions, granulated garlic, and bread crumbs mixed with water. Mix well and add remaining ingredients. Mix well and mold into loaves. form in either loaf pans or a meat pan with sides high enough to hold juices.
  • Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

This meatloaf turned out wonderfully, and I must say that although I did serve it alongside some creamy mashed parmesan red potatoes, I'm not sure which dish the fam would've given a higher score... they went together beautifully - a little like, well, Mickey and Minnie! A huge thanks for sharing this recipe - I KNOW this will be the only meatloaf this momma will be able to make from now on!
