Cheesy Sausage and Rice

ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package ground pork breakfast sausage (I use the spicy however you can use whatever you want)
- 1 (11 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 4 cups white rice
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (Any kind of shredded cheese will work, I really like the jack cheese blend. -- )
directions
- Boil the rice.
- In the meantime, brown up the sausage, drain and add the can of cream of chicken.
- Put rice in a bowl scoop a spoonful or two of the sausage mixture over the rice.
- Add cheese to your desire!
- Eat!

This had great flavor and was super easy to make and clean-up. My Husband and son also gobbled it up. I did add the cheese to melt directly in the pan before serving, a can of peas for some green and a touch of half-and-half to thin it. None of those things change the taste, though, so I give all 5-stars to the recipe gladly and will make over and over again. Thank you.
