Cheesy Dapper Apple Squares

"This recipe was a winner of the Pillsbury Bake-Off contest many years ago, I've been making this recipe for the past 20 years, it's a very easy recipe and I have never met anyone who doesn't like it, and it has remained a family favorite! I make it using grated cheddar in place of the slices, and I always increase the amount of cheese slightly, I also add in a small amount of cinnamon to the crust."

  1. I made this in a 9x9" dish, so it was a little thicker and I cooked it a little longer. Loved the flavor! Great with vanilla ice cream! Thanks Kitten!
