Cheese Grits Supreme

"Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter shared this recipe while her husband was President of the USA and I've been making this since then. It is still a big favorite in our family. Great for breakfast and awesome side dish with shrimp, ham, chops, chicken...you name it! *Note - There used to be a processed soft cheese that came in a tube with this flavor. I can no longer find it in my area. I have used Kraft Bacon Cheese Spread but again can no longer find it. I have cooked up 1/4-1/2 bacon, crumbled it and added to a Cold Pack Cheese Spread with success."
