  1. Liked it, but didnt love it. :( I thought it needed a lot of salt. I will try it again and maybe use some spices.

  2. My Family really enjoys this rice. Sometimes I add some cajun seasoning. It is very easy to prepare and disappears quickly!

  3. I was all set to make this dish when I discovered I was completely out of rice. Sooo I substituted Orzo instead and it turned out great. This is so easy to make and a nice change of pace dish that will surely please everyone. Thanks so much for sharing, Southerbell2627, this is a keeper.

  4. Really good stuff! I was looking for something to serve with baked ham, other than potatoes or yams and this was it. I would have no problem making a whole meal just out of the rice. I followed the recipe exactly except added a little salt and pepper. Next time I might try using low fat sour cream so we can have it more often.Thank you SouthernBelle2627 for sharing a great dish.

I am 30 years old. I am married and have a wonderful family. My hubbie is the greatest. We have a 2 1/2 year old little girl. Her name is Lizzie Belle. I have pics if anyone wants to see. I work for a bank in Brandon, MS. My hubbie is a police officer in Jackson. I have a great cookbook that is called "Any Blonde Can Cook". It is awesome. I love to cook...when I have the time. My family keeps me pretty busy though. I enjoy reading books, going to the movies, traveling, spending time with my family, cooking, playing with Lizzie Belle, tanning, and getting my nails done.
