ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup camomile tea
- 1⁄8 teaspoon mint extract
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄4 cup heavy cream, whipped
- fresh mint sprig, for garnish
directions
- Pour the tea into a cup. Stir in the mint extract and the sugar. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
- NOTE: You can also mix fresh or dried chamomile flowers and mint leaves together before brewing--1/2 teaspoon of each works best in 3/4 cup water. Or you can simply add equal amounts of brewed chamomile and mint tea together in the same cup. Then omit the mint extract from the recipe.
