ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1⁄2 salad oil
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups carrots, shredded
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- orange juice
directions
- Cake.
- Mix all ingredients except the brown sugar and orange juice, together
- Bake in a well greased and floured tube pan.
- Bake at 325* for 1 1/2 hours.
- Frosting.
- Mix brown sugar with enough orange juice to spread over cake while still warm.
