Carole's Banana Bread Supreme

"This bread was given to me by a friend a few years ago. I was immediately HOOKED! The topping makes it the best banana bread I have ever had and it gets consistant raves from anyone I share it with. Hope you enjoy it as much as my family and friends do!"

• Ingredients: 13
• Yields: 2-3 loaves

ingredients

• Mix in order

• 1 cup oil
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 3 mashed bananas
• 3 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 tablespoons hot water

• Topping-if desired

• 6 tablespoons half-and-half
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 cups chopped pecans

directions

1. Grease pans. Divide into loaf pans.
2. Bake: 1 hours for 2 large pans.
3. 45 minute for 3 small pans.

5. Bring to a boil.
6. spread on top of bread and put under a broiler for about 2-3 minutes--just until lightly browned. checking it often to making sure not to burn.
