ive been making these for some time now and when i use lemon cake mix and then melt some regular can fluffy white frosting to drizzle over when they have cooled they always are one of the first to sell at the bake sales, never fails that someone asks me for the recipe, the lemon mix is the perfect one it seems, but ive also tried it with cinnamon streusel and red velvet, both were well recieved, so easy and delicious.... enjoy!!!

I usually make everything from scratch, but just for fun i thought i would buy a cake mix and try these out! They were really good! I actually thought i would test them out by making half of them with oil and the other half with applesauce. I was hoping they would taste the same so i could just make the low fat applesauce ones next time. However, they had a noticeable flavor difference. The oil cookies were moist and rich, while the applesauce ones were light and fluffy but almost bland. Of course that didn't stop me from eating them all! I used Betty Crocker Cherry Chip cake mix, and decorated with orange and black sprinkles as it is Halloween tomorrow! Thanks for this quick and easy recipe!
