Cajun Pork Chops

"This is a family favorite we make over and over again. Although it's extremely flavorful, it is quite lean"

  1. Very easy and tasty! I added more water when it was simmering because the one cup of gravy I used just didn't seem to be enough. It was enjoyed by my family and will be made again.

  2. These pork chops were very flavorful! I used a package of Pioneer Brand brown gravy mix (which made 2 cups of gravy) and cut the celery to 1/2 cup (because I'm not a big celery fan). The whole family gave it a thumbs up, so it's a keeper!

  3. I have made this twice and both times it was a hit! It is fast, and has a taste like it cooked all afternoon. I used 2 gravy packages, so I could have leftovers. 2 thumbs up. Great one dish meal for company.

  4. This was very good! I recommend using low sodium or no salt seasoning though. Mine seemed a bit salty so I threw a potato in just to absorb some of the salt. The gravy was absolutely delicious with the bell peppers and onions. Thanks for sharing! Made for Susie's World Tour 2018.

  5. I made this recipe for my ladies Supper Club and everyone loved it! I had to double the recipe so I had to bake it in the oven. I seasoned very thick loin chops with Tony Chachere's creole seasoning and browned them in a skillet. I made the sauce (a little bland) and added a few shakes of creole seasoning to give it some zip. I poured the sauce over the chops and baked at 350 for 45 to 50 min. This dish was wonderful, everyone raved about how moist the chops were and what great flavor the dish had. I actually assembled this in the morning, refrigerated it all day and baked it prior to the dinner party and it was fabulous. Thanks for sharing a great recipe. Nora K.

  1. Oh my deliciousness!!!!! I am not a gravy person, but this was fantastic!!! I ate it with mashed potatoes instead of the rice, and that was a nice match as well. I will definitely be making this again.
