  1. Really, really good! I doubled everything, threw in some extra shrimp and we devoured it. I think next time I might try some cajun seasoning instead of just cayenne pepper. It was quick and easy to prepare on a weeknight, too. Thanks for a great recipe!

  2. Very tasty! I only used smoked turkey sausage, and penne noodles instead of fettucchini, but those there the only changes. I really enjoyed the flavors and the heat. Thanks so much for a great recipe!

  3. I have given this 5 stars but it was a toss up with my family between the 4 and the 5. This is a great after work quick meal that is packed with loads of flavour. I loved the combination of flavours that came through in this dish. The smoked sausage and shrimp were reallly yummy. I made as is but used light cream instead of half and half and I also added a little more than stated.. I also sprinkled the dish with extra parmesan at the end.. A great recipe thanks for sharing..

  4. Substituted Seagrams 7 for the Sherry and Field Roast Vegetarian Chipolte Sausage for the smoked Sausage. It was great! My kid loved it!

<p>I love to cook. I love trying new recipes, especially when there is a picture. And I really enjoy reading cookbooks. <br /><br />As a child, I wasn't very good at cooking and always wanted to follow the recipe exactly. That way, if it didn't turn out right, I could blame the recipe! <br /><br />Over time, I have become more experimental. Brave even! <br /><br />I have three children: Shannon is 28, Casey is 26 and Joshua is 19. My DH Jack cheers me on when I try something new. He is my best friend and partner. I am a new grandmother, my grandson's name is Jayce and he's a delight! Plus, I'm going to be a grandmother again - with a granddaughter.<br /><br /><a href=http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t294/TraceyMae_photos/?action=view?t=100_2166.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t294/TraceyMae_photos/100_2166.jpg border=0 alt=Photobucket /></a> <br /><a href=http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t294/TraceyMae_photos/?action=view?t=100_1401-1.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t294/TraceyMae_photos/100_1401-1.jpg border=0 alt=Photobucket /></a> <br /><br />My favorite cookbook is The Dessert Lover's Cookbook.
