DIRECTIONS

  • Start cooking bacon to desired doneness. Drizzle with maple syrup and allow to heat through.
  • Finely slice up cabbages and onion. Toss with field greens and raisins.
  • Next, make your dressing. Mix oil, pomegranate conc, sugar, vinegar and lemon pepper and salt, and garlic. Taste to make personal adjustments before adding to salad.
  • Remove bacon, drain on paper towel. When cool enough to handle, break into desired sized pieces.
  • Mix the salad in the bowl with the dressing, and top with the maple syrup bacon.
  • Regular flavored vinegar can be subsituted.
