- 125 g butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1 1⁄4 cups self raising flour
directions
- Preheat the oven to 150 Celsius.
- Beat Butter,Essence, Sugar and Golden Syrup in a small bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Then sift in Flour and mix till dough comes together. Roll into teaspoon size balls and place about 5cm apart on lined baking tray.
- Flatten with fork slightly.
- Bake for about 20 minutes.
- Cool on wire rack.
- Eat and Enjoy!

Hi from downunder, I have 2 hungry teen boys (with hollow legs) that I love to cook for. They are getting so tall and seem to grow a bit more every day (they call me their pocket-sized Mum), and a Darling Partner who all love my cooking -well most of the time anyway. We have 2 four legged wonders- a Schizo toe biting cat and an oldman Jack Russel dog that would make a sloth look active!!
I dabble in a bit of decorative painting, love spending time in the garden growing veges and herbs and occasionally get a good workout from lifting heavy weeds.
