  1. I made these to server at a family cookout and they were a hit. My husband and I both really enjoyed them. The only problem is that they are so addictive! Tip: I use a 13x9 inch pyrex pan and often have brownies stick. I lined the pan with foil, greased it with the butter wrapper and the blondies came out of the pan perfectly. Note: 1 2/3 cups butterscotch chips is pretty much the whole 11 oz bag.

  2. Just made these - they came out so well - very moist and springy. I added butterscotch chips into the batter as well - very good!

  3. I omitted the nuts but other than that, these were tasty! Made them for a pizza, wine & dessert party we had at a friends:) Yum!

  4. Great blondie recipe! The batter was very very thick and I wasn't sure if it would come out right. I made a half recipe and cooked for 20 mins. I didn't have butterscotch pieces so I used white chocolate chips, blanched almonds and peppermint essence along with some vanilla. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that I think the best blondies have white chocolate melted into the batter but this is great recipe nonetheless

  5. Very good! My husband is a picky dessert eater, but he loved them. We made them without the walnuts.

Tweaks

  1. I used pecans instead of walnuts. This is incredibly yummy!

  2. These are yummy! I actually used pecans instead of walnuts, and only used a cup of butterscotch chips, and I thought it was plenty. These are delicious warm, and they get better after a day or two. Thanks for posting!

I made this account back in 2001, when the site was called "Recipezaar". A lot has changed in my life since then. My kids are all grown and I try to eat a low-carb lifestyle now. Some of my older recipes were handed down from my grandmother. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I have. Current recipes that I post will mostly be low carb or keto.
