- 24 frozen tart shells
- 1 (300 ml) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (regular or fat-free)
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1⁄3 cup corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 pinch cinnamon (optional)
- 2⁄3 cup golden raisin
directions
- Remove tart shells from freezer and arrange on 2 baking sheets. Let thaw 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, egg and cinnamon. Stir in raisins. Pour evenly into tart shells.
- Bake in preheated oven (375F) for 18 minutes or until center is just set and pastry is golden. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
- For plump soft textured raisins pour a little boiling water over raisins. Let stand 3-4 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
