Broccoli Salad

ingredients
- 1 bunch broccoli, chopped
- 1 cup green seedless grape, halved
- 1⁄2 cup skinless sunflower seeds
- 1⁄2 cup red onion, chopped
- 3⁄4 lb bacon, cooked and chopped into 1/4 inch pieces

Dressing
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄4 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
directions
- Combine salad ingredients in medium size bowl.
- Whisk dressing ingredients together.
- Pour over salad & mix well.
- Marinate in covered container for 5- 6 hours or overnight.
- Keeps for 2- 3 days.

I gave this 5 stars. My family loves this. My mom-inlaw gave me the recipe. Our local deli sells this at $2-$3.00 a pound. We do not use grapes or sunflower seeds in ours. We also use a little milk to thin out the mayonnaise. I don't like this creamy and thick but thin like a dressing. Great summer dish. Thanks for posting christine (internetnut)

In the words of Tracy Byrd, "I'm from the country & I like it that way"!!
On May 1, 2008 my husband and I started a new adventure. We'll be living in a 37 foot RV while our new home is under construction. Its out in the country on a dead end dirt road with lots of trees. For the next 4 months or so, most meals will be cooked on the BBQ and life will be full of challenges!
We love spending quality time with our friends & family - especially the grandkids!! The photo is 4 generations - my 84 year old mother, myself, my daughter & my youngest granddaughter - taken at the end of 2006.
