Breakfast Sausage

"I used to make this when I lived in Spain, so that I could have English Muffin Sandwiches like they make at McDonald's. Did you know they don't serve breakfast at the McD's in Spain?"

  1. A perfect breakfast sausage, although I will also cut back on the salt next time.

  2. I had to try your recipe, because I also live in Spain and can't find breakfast sausage. This was great! Does it taste just like the sausage you can get in the States? Not really. But I didn't really expect it to, and it really is a good substitute! I doubled the recipe and popped about 3/4 of the recipe in the freezer. Also, I added a little red pepper for that extra spice. This was delicious and my hubby (whos is Spanish but has quite a taste for American food) loved it! Thanks for giving us an easy sausage fix!

  3. Very good! I halved the recipe but found it was a wee bit saltly for me. BUT! I can now control the salt! (bwa-ha-ha) Excellent recipe, and easy and cheap to make. I agree, bye bye Mickey-D's

  4. sorry but this one wasnt for me. I followed exactly and it was just terrible!

  5. I tweaked this recipe a tiny bit, but it was phenomenal! I used ground turkey (I don't eat pork) and omitted the salt. I also added a pinch of cloves and cayenne pepper. It actually could have used more cayenne than I added. Thank you for a great recipe!
