Breakfast Applesauce for Pancakes, French Toast or Waffles

"My grandpa made us kids pancakes and waffles whenever we'd visit. And he'd serve this apple sauce on the side - we'd eat it as is or top our waffles. Good!"

  1. This was delicious and easy to make. I added 1/2 tsp. cinnamon because I like that combination of ingredients and it was very flavorful.

  2. What a intresting concept. This went really well and i'll be using this again. Thanks.

  3. This went really great with the pancakes I made this morning. I only had one apple, so I cut it down to two servings and it worked fine. Next time I might try blending the apples first, but I found even though the apples were in chunks the apple flavor transfered into the syrup very well.
