Bread Machine Condensed Milk Sweet Bread

"This is my family's favorite bread machine recipe. You can bake it in your bread machine but I prefer to do it the way the recipe reads. I don't care for the way my machine bakes bread. Make sure all of your ingredients are at room temperature before starting."

  1. Delicious...soft and sweet. Used my bread machine from start to finish, sweet setting, 1.5lb loaf. Took it to work the next day. One coworker said this recipe is a keeper, another came in for seconds and wanted to buy a bread machine based on this bread. Good with butter and honey, and also butter and leftover condensed milk. Delicious.
  2. This recipe was great!!! I used the dough/pasta setting on my bread machine and turned it off after an hour (the bread machine had the time auto-set to 1hr 30min); I then separated and braided the dough and let it sit in the pan for 30 minutes (like instructed - also put a towel over it). Total time ended up being over two hours (I probably could have turned the bread machine off sooner, but didn't want to risk it) ... I've received all great comments when sharing with family and friends. Thx for this recipe - its a keeper!
  3. Great tasting bread and it came out of the oven looking gorgeous.
  4. Beautiful bread. My family thought it needed more salt. Butter and honey a friend made took it to 4 stars. I look forward to experimenting with this recipe!
  5. I have made this bread 4 times in the past 2 weeks. It is so easy and so delicious. It is now my go-to recipe and I can't seem to switch back to any of my other favorite bread recipe. I bake it in my bread machine on sweet setting. This is a great recipe.
