I am a 27 year old Brazilian girl who is married to an American guy. I have been leaving here in the USA for 2 years now and it has not been easy. Everything here is just so different from Brazil and that includes food! I have been learning how to cook since the day I've got married and I do know how to prepare some Brazilian dishes but, I have to confess that I am better on cooking American dishes (when I say American I am actually referring to dishes I have tried here in the USA...not all of them are part of the American cuisine I guess). I don't have much time to cook because I work 2 jobs but, I try to do it regardless...on my day off usually. My hubby says he likes my food...he is a meaty person and so I try to prepare dishes including beef for him...it's usually a mixture of Brazilian and American cuisine...rs. We do not have kids yet but we have been planning on it for end of this year. We have a cat and her name is Xena. She also loves trying the dishes I cook and sometimes she likes them and sometime she doesn't...just like a little person!
