ingredients
- 2 cups bran buds
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- 1⁄4 cup flax seed
- 1 cup mini chocolate chip
- 3⁄4 cup dried cherries
- 3⁄4 cup honey
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 3⁄4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
directions
- Mix first seven ingredients in large bowl.
- Bring remaining ingredients to boil on medium heat.
- Mix honey mixture into oat mixture until well coated.
- Place 1 sheet wax paper into 9 by 13 pan.
- Dump mixture into pan.
- Place 2nd sheet wax paper over mixture and press flat into the pan.
- Cut into bars when cooled.
