Great easy appetizer - I drained the mussels and squeezed a bit of lime juices over them.<br/> Use Lite garden vegetable cream cheese - Loved the end result Served with a Martini

I purchased a multi-pack of smoked oysters in error...and had no idea what to do with them. Found this recipe, gave a whirl..and oh so YUMMY! I used Philadelphia Light- Chives and Onion cream cheese on roasted rosemary and garlic crackers. So SIMPLE and so YUMMY!

I saw Wildflour's photo and just had to try these. I love smoked oysters and these were so easy to prepare. I used Ritz Whole Wheat crackers, whipped onion and chive cream cheese and of course smoked oysters. Such a delicious and easy appetizer to prepare! I will prepare these often. Thanks Boomette!

This has been one of my favorites but never used the onion cream cheese. Still didn't because I could not locate it but I did add chopped green onion into my whipped cream cheese. Added a nice color and great flavor. I served mine on multi-grain crackers that are about twice the size of Ritz so I doubled up on the oysters. Thanks for posting. This is how I'm making them in the future. :)

I was in smoker oyster heaven (one of my favorite treats)! I couldn't find onion cream cheese, so had to use chive cream cheese instead. Also, I prefer water crackers, so used them. Overall, everything went beautifully with the oysters, and I will be making this often! Thanks so much for this great, yet simple, idea.
