Bohemian Coffee Cake

"This is one of my great aunt's recipes that classifies as a stand by good old recipe... I recommend maybe using this in a little basket with some small coffee bean bags and some coffee cups... Cute!!!"

• Serves: 10-12

ingredients

• 1 cup cooking oil
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 cup coconut (optional)
• 2 cups chopped pecans
• 2 1⁄2 cups self-rising flour
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

directions

1. Pretty easy directions, really -- just mix all ingredients together and bake in a tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hr.; I also like the plum cake version of this too, just sub 2 jars of plum baby food for coconut.
