Blue Twilight (Party Punch)

"I tried this last year for my Valentine dinner with my husband by the swimming pool. The blue of the punch goes very well with the blue waters of the pool ... Oh it was so very romantic. I think the punch is also suitable for any parties with a blue / water theme. Try it!"

• 30 ml white rum
• 60 ml pineapple juice
• 30 ml lime juice
• 15 ml blue curacao

directions

1. Put all the ingredients into a tail glass with ice.
2. Stir well.
3. To garnish, decorate with a lemon or orange slice put into the drink.
4. This will also give additional taste.

I made 15 servings of this for my Under The Sea party. Some of my guests said the drink was a little on the tart side, but still a good drink. Next time if it's too tart, I'll add more pineapple juice or maybe a little sugar. I used concentrate for the pineapple juice, and I also had slices of pineapple for garnish. Also, the color I got was a bit like blue-green, which was great for my party, but if you want a really blue drink, plan on some food coloring.
