ingredients
- 1⁄3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, melted
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
directions
- Combine butter and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to butter-sugar mixture, combining well. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Spread into a greased and floured 8" square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.

I am a preschool teacher in Florida, here since marrying my hubby in Sept of '04. I have a stepdaughter.
