Blonde Brownies

"Also called butterscotch brownies. They taste like a chocolate chip cookie without the chocolate. More chewy than cake like. Really wonderful especially when warm."

  1. This was a great recipe for blonde brownies. Taste like the ones my mom used to make when I was a little girl. Have also given this recipe away to friends.

  2. I made these several times, with different additions each time I baked them: butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, m and m's but my favorite addition was white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. Great recipe, very rich and chewy! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could......Yum!
