  1. We love this pie! A friend brought one over after I had a baby and I absolutely hounded her for the recipe. This recipe is only slightly different (a bit more cocoa) so I tried Bev's recipe and liked it even better! So, so easy in the blender and possibly the easiest dessert you'll ever make. I use butter and don't even melt it before combining in the blender with the other ingredients. Excellent when topped with a layer of fresh whipped cream and chocolate shavings. The chocolate layer itself is rather thin but very rich and sweet. Please note this recipe is for TWO pies, so ingredients must be halved if using only one pie shell. I have a feeling the other reviewer inadvertently missed that step. Thanks, Bev, for sharing the recipe!

  2. Unfortunately, I did not have any luck with this pie. I made the pie as directed, and baked for a full 45 minutes and the pie was still really "shakey". I baked it a little longer but then the crust started burning. The center did not set at all and when it was cut into, the filling spilled out like water. I wonder if there is possibly something missing from the ingredients??
