Bizaar Spice- Meat or Poultry Mexican Spice Rub

"One of the easiest ways to increase the flavor of meat while cutting back on fat, is to utilize rubs, herbs and spices on the surface of the meat. This Mexican themed rub is fantastic on chicken, pork or beef."

In March, 2009, I made the decision to be a SAHM for a while. I am a Clinical Psychologist with a concentration in child/family psychology. I currently work with at risk children and their families to help them attain a positive family unit, self worth and a general sense of self reliance in order to build a cohesive family unit. I love to cook and experimenting with spices and spice blends is a favorite hobby of mine. I love the total food experience- aromas, flavors, colors and textures. I try to eat as healthy as I can without sacrificing the things that I love. I have found that even small adjustments make a big difference. I enjoy taking part in community events and helping those that are less fortunate. I believe in the concept of "what is mine is yours" and I try to live my life by that thinking. I love to have fun and joke around. I think I have a great sense of humor and believe that laughter is truly the best medicine. I care about my fellow man and feel a deep compassion for those who are in distress. I cannot stand drama and have no room in my life for it. I detest trouble makers and pot stirrers. If you think that you are either of those, please stay on your own side of the forums. I say it like it is and I take it like it's meant. But, I'm never mean spirited and I never set out to harm or alienate anyone. Tact goes a long way in this life and it is too short for the 'dramateria' that some cause or allow into their lives. My outlook on nasty people is this; if you are bored- go find something constructive to do. If you are lonely or unhappy- visit your local ASPCA and adopt a loving animal that needs you just as badly.
