Birthday Sangria

"I am posting this Sangria recipe that I put together on my husband's birthday so that I don't forget it. There are so many Sangria recipes out there and after reading a few in magazines and on the internet, I put this together and it was really quite yummy."

• Yields: 1 2 quart pitcher
• Serves: 4-6

ingredients

• 1 (750 ml) bottle zinfandel
• 1⁄2 cup triple sec
• 1 cup asti spumante sparkling wine
• 1⁄2 cup peach schnapps
• 1⁄2 cup orange juice
• 2 tablespoons lime juice
• 1⁄2 cup nectarine, slices
• 1⁄2 cup strawberry slices
• 1⁄2 cup maraschino cherries and juice
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• 1⁄4 cup sugar
• ice cube

directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a 2 quart pitcher and mix well.
