  1. This is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I made it this afternoon when I really needed to unwind after a lengthy writing day at my desk. I felt so nice after a bath with these salts in the tub. I did have to substitute the epsom salts with table salt, but it worked fine. I will try this again once I get epsom salts from the nearest pharmacy. I also used these for my mom as a scrub for her feet. I added some of this to hot water in a tub and made her soak her feet in it. She loved it. She said her feet felt soft and silky smooth after this. I did use rose blended essential oil as my fragrance oil for this. Next time, I will try lemon oil, peppermint and eucalyptus. I used green food colour and it looked wonderful in these salts. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I have made some for gift giving also:) A definite keeper!

  3. You saved my butt, I needed a quick easy craft for 6 kids today and thinking I got all the stuff I needed last night for soap I found out that I can't find my molds. I had little jars with lids downstairs and with a little almond oil (it was all I had) we made blue and green bath salts for Mother's day. Thanks so much

  4. Wonderful bath after an extra long day. Next time I will increase the fragrance oil to 8 drops. This will make a great gift for my friends as well. Thank you so much for posting this. I really enjoyed it!

  5. I used spice containers for my jars which hold 3/8 cup each. I had some lovely grapeseed oil based Body Shop products which worked really well. These salts come out in pastel form which looks really pretty.

I love to go to restaurants, but I also love to cook -- when I have the time. I work 2 part-time jobs. My family has very different tastes which have required careful menu planning. My husband and oldest daughter love meat, any kind, and couldn't do without it. On the other hand, my teenage daughter has never liked meat, ever. This makes planning a meal rather difficult but because of this I have tried many different recipes to suit every taste of my family. Luckily for me, I love most any kind of food.
